Salt Lake City, Utah is once again hosting to the historic ‘I AM EQUAL’ Photo Documentary World Tour which will make a stop at the SLC PHOTO COLLECTIVE on 9-NOV-2011 from 3pm-9pm welcoming hundreds of people from across the community to break a world record and show what Utah really stands for.
Now you and your family can be part of history and shine a light on the HUMAN RIGHTS, CIVIL LIBERTIES, & EQUALITY issues you support through this historic project. Your ‘I AM EQUAL’ photo will come to represent your passion and commitment to make the world a better place…so share this photo far and wide and start educating people about what you stand for.
You’ll jump in front of the camera of internationally acclaimed fashion photographer Matt Spencer when he stops in Salt Lake and be one of more than 100,000 photos used to create the world’s largest photo mosaic and essay dedicated to human rights. This is a HUGE event and we’re so excited to bring it back to the people of Utah.
Some people come and dedicate their photo to women’s rights and ending domestic violence; others come to celebrate their strength as a survivor of abuse. Some people use their picture to shine a light on environmental concerns or to claim their right to a pollution-free future & sustainable farming. There are some who come in support of marriage equality and LGBT rights; and others who are stepping up for religious freedoms. Every cause is valuable, and we celebrate them all…and EVERY photo will be part of the RECORD-BREAKING ‘I AM EQUAL’ photo campaign.
