I AM EQUAL :: EVENTS

SACRAMENTO, CA :: 2011

The I AM EQUAL photo world tour is coming to Sacramento California thanks to the support of our host, THE CITIZEN HOTEL and the Joie de Vivre Hotel Group.

Now you and your family can show your support for HUMAN RIGHTS & EQUALITY as you step up and claim your personal power with your very own I AM EQUAL photo.

Internationally acclaimed fashion photographer Matt Spencer is coming to the capital of California to showcase the power, passion, and commitment of your community to support the cause of peace. Some people come to support the rights of women and children; others come to celebrate their strength as a survivor of abuse.

Some people use their picture to shine a light on environmental concerns or to claim their right to a pollution-free future. There are some who come in support of gay & lesbian rights; and others who are stepping up for religious freedoms. Every cause is valuable, and we celebrate them all!

Prepare for the I AM EQUAL EVENTS

I AM EQUAL PHOTOSThis is your chance to step up and let EVERYONE know what you stand for.  EVERY CAUSE IS VALUABLE, so be clear on why you’re taking part in this project!

I live with my parents and I’m 29 years old. Salt lake city is my hometown and I have three pugs.

I have downs syndrome. Sometimes people been teasing me cause I look different. I went to many schools. I was vulnerable and it would make people want to tease me when I was in school. One time a boy spitted on me on my glasses. Another time a girl pinched me hard on the shoulder and it hurt. And other students would call me slow. And when people do these things it kind of makes me a little sad and hurt.

I love my family and they are precious to me. I like to go to the movies with my brothers and listen to my favorite singer Taylor Hicks. I’m happy...  » READ MORE «
